About Us
The Strategic Group was founded in 1996 as a boutique, multi-national private equity firm that acquires, invest, develops and successfully operates companies across a multitude of diverse industry types with our core competency being technology, bioscience, fintech and hedge fund industries.
The Strategic Group PR is the asset management arm of The Strategic Group. The division was relocated to PR because of a new laws targeting private equity and hedge funds, Acts 20, 22, 273 now Act 60, which TSG was the one of the first recipients to relocate their firm here.
The firm also founded the 20/22 Act Society, which aggregates these firms and works closely with the local government to bring hedge funds and private equity to the island and provides a social function and charitable arm.
